recipe red velvet cake

for the cake....

ingredients:
1 1/4 cup cake flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp red coloring
60 g soft unsalted butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 nos egg
1/2 tsp vanila essence
1/2 cup whole milk + 1/2 tbsp vinegar (mix well)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp vinegar

methods:
1. preheat oven 175 c
2. sieve flour and baking powder, put aside
3. in small bowl, combine cocoa powder and red coloring,, add some water and stir well.
4.beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy, add in egg and beat till blended.
5. add vanila essence and the cocoa mixture, beat well.
6. add in flour and milk(milk that has been mix with vinegar) alternately.
7. add in vinegar and baking soda. stir well with spatula.
8. pour to mold and bake for 40 min or until cooked.
9. once cool, slice cake into two and spread cream cheese filling. put in chiller  before served. ^^

for cream cheese filling:
ingredients:
125 g cream chese
50 g unsalted butter
80 g icing sugar
1 cup fresh cream(whip till stiff)

methods:
1. beat cream cheese with butter till soft
2. add in sugar a little at time till well blended
3.add whipped cream, stir well with spatula
